BLT: Basic Leadership Training
Last week on 5/11 we went camping to sentul, Richie the Farmer. We weren't allowed to bring our phones or any electronic devices. Which means I can't update my Snapchat.
It was my first BLT or Camping. I had so much fun in the camp. First day we get to play games and activities. The Food there is good too. The weather at afternoon was hot. I mean hot like really hot. But then evening came and it was starting to be really cold. Especially at night it was the coldest. It was raining at night so we didn't sleep in the tent, we slept in the Aula.
There were insects and animals such as "Tokek" and frogs etc. The Toilet there is clean but yet so much frogs and insects. The water is cold too. The food was delicious and good. Not to mention there are baby cows/calfs.

Puyo Interview
Adrian Agus and Eugene Patricia are the makers and founders of the famous silky pudding you might know as PUYO. Puyo Desserts are made freshly everyday. They focus on the light and silky texture for people to fulfil their sweet cravings without feeling guilty. After doing a lot of experiments in order to find a perfect recipe, Puyo Desserts was first established on July, 2013 by our founders Adrian Agus (when he was 21 years old) and Eugenie Agus (when she was 19 years old). The two young entrepreneurs has finally opened their first official outlet on September, 2013. With a lot of hard work and support, Puyo Desserts has now opened 16 official outlets around Jakarta and Tangerang.
They start by selling the Silky Desserts. After seeing it being a great success, we enhanced the recipe and create a combined product, Silky Drinks. Launching new flavours is something we do every now and then. They believe that it takes real passion to seek out the finest, best tasting ingredients for their Silky Desserts & Silky Drinks.
They currently made a game called PUYO play.Puyo Play is a collection of mini-games that we are sure Puyo People will love and get crazy about. Silky Tower, Baloon Escape and Jungle Smash are few of the games that you can enjoy!Be ready because whenever you accomplish a mission of a milestone, you can get free Puyo at our booth or other promotions! Puyo Play is developed together by the Puyo team and by the young and talented developers from Major Glasses.

Questions:
What Inspired you to make a Business?
I watched a lot of business related TV Shows such as shark tank. I also watched a Thai movie called The Billionaire about a young entrepreneur who founded seaweed snack business called Tao Kae Noi which inspired me to become entrepreneur. Then That time when I was in college I started PUYO, which was my first venture while I was at college and then, due to the difficulties in managing my time while studying and running PUYO,because of that I decided to focus on PUYO.
Why did you at first make a Business?
At first we were just experimenting until we thought of having a business since the rest of the family are also entrepreneurs. At first, we thought what business we could open. Fortunately my father likes cooking. One day,He made a pudding but it had a different texture, it was softer. And we believed it will be popular if we sell it.
What kind of Business are you selling?
Our first product is a soft textured pudding, but now we have more than that we have silky dessert which is a beverage with slices of soft pudding in it.
Why Food and Beverage?
Puyo is my first venture, I have never started a business before PUYO. I observed that getting started in food and beverage does not require a massive capital. Back then, the trend was to go online, meaning no need to invest in a shopfront,no need for large upfront capital, no need to own a restaurant. Because of the rapid growth of social media such as Instagram, many people started to sell their products online. Therefore,we chose food and beverage.
Why Desserts?
With Instagram, people take pictures of everything they eat and posted it online.Especially for Indonesians, we update on social media, on Instagram,Path,Twitter and more. We noticed this particular trend, and we came up with a type of dessert that is unique and photogenic and also a type of pudding that is very easy to produce.
What does PUYO mean?
PUYO doesn't have any particular meaning,It’s just a brand. Its actually my little brother’s nickname, We came to a realization that the name is actually very catchy pu..yo. We asked a lot of people about the name, we tested the name. We asked a lot of people wether PUYO is a good brand for a food related product.
What do you think is the hardest thing to do while running a Business?
I think Marketing, as you know for food and beverage businesses customers can get bored easily with our product offerings. I find marketing is especially challenging for me,because in the first year we did not allocate any marketing budget at all. In the first year, our marketing was on conducted on social media & word of mouth.
To whom are you selling your products to (age group)
Based on a survey, within the age group of 16 to 25 years old. 70% of them are women and 30% of them are men.
When did you start the business?
My sister and I, We found PUYO in July 2013
How do you choose to promote it?
We start promoting our product via Instagram. We have a photographer to take pictures of the products, then we edit it by adding the name and the flavor of the product. After that we post it.
Do you see a lot of copycat products?
We have seen plenty of it, As in most Food and Beverage businesses its not really difficult to come up with a copycat product. But most of the copycat products are selling via Instagram.
Where did you start working on your business?
Are you working with anyone on your business?
I found PUYO with my sister Eugene Patricia.
What do you think matters most? Product or Price?
For me I think what matters most is product. We sell quality not quantity.
Who inspired you to make this business?
My father is the one who taught me how to make this silky textured pudding so my father is who I am inspired by.
Describe how it feels to start a business?
I think it is like a risk taker, it can be scary but later on when you are success it feels right.
How many customers do you get per week or month?
In a month we sold about 3000 cups per outlet.
Do you have any co-workers or a friend that is helping you with this business?
We have about 80 staff members helping us.We have about 13 outlets.
